Munich/Hallbergmoos, 15.6.2011 – ANDTEK GmbH presents unified communications solutions at its best at the “Cisco Live 2011” in Las Vegas (July 10 until 14). The center stage of the product range is the attendant console software “AND Desktop AC”. The user can utilize all relevant functions of a modern attendant console very easily and has the possibility to manage it centrally. Since the latest release the attendant console solution offers all functions to be used as fully featured workplace for blind persons.

Further highlights presented by ANDTEK are complex and easy to handle manager/assistant services, a provisioning solution boosting the efficiency of moves/add/changes and a virtual infrastructure for all offerings.

Multifunctional attendant console

ANDTEK’s solution “AND Desktop AC” offers a standardized environment with an identical interface on various platforms and is the ideal solution for enterprise customers and call centers handling their calls by phone and/or via PC. The solution offers a quick installation and integration into existing environments.

The attendant console software “AND Desktop AC” allows busy lamp field information about all phones within the company. The user has the possibility to integrate all types of standard directories and database address books of the telephone system or MS Exchange. Users can do their phone calls conveniently via headset and they can control their phone by various devices, search in the corporate directory, make phone calls and have access to call lists.

An automatic fallback is important when calls are transferred to busy phones because this ensures that these calls will not be lost but are automatically connected back to the attendant.

The attendant console solution “AND Desktop AC” is also available in a version including Braille display. This way visually impaired and blind persons can use all functions of this flexible attendant console now – e.g. in a call center or at the reception.

Modern manager/assistant functions

In Las Vegas ANDTEK also presents a variety of modern manager/assistant services. For example the real-time status display of other phones within the company or the installation of so-called VIP lists. Using this function certain persons can call a certain phone directly at any time even if call forwarding is activated. This function can be installed via the IP phone. All manager/assistant functions can also be used via PC.

„AND Phone Provisioning“ – less time, more quality

ANDTEK’s provisioning solution allows an automatic, easier and significantly faster modification of complex IP telephony environments, e.g. in case a new IP workplace including additional services has to be integrated into a complex network. A qualified administrator needs up to 45 minutes to do this. Using “AND Phone Provisioning” the required time is reduced to about 5 minutes.

Efficient infrastructure

Additionally to a physical server the entire portfolio of ANDTEK’s unified communications solutions can also be operated in combination with a virtual server being integrated into the physical corporate server. This way companies can react very flexible to changing requirements regarding their internal communication, bundle IT resources and use the capacities of the physical server achieving a higher efficiency.
